Reasons Why Water Enters A Pit

Water entering a pit can happen for a variety of reasons. The causes typically include a combination of the following:

3. Any original waterproofing system would have been ineffective because the pit is too old.
4. The ground water pressure has increased due to a nearby water main break or obstructed drainage.
5. Wet weather during certain times of the year can raise the water table over water proofing installed level.
